HOODBTC TRADE GUIDE

STEP-BY-STEP / WALLET-FIRST TRADING

From wallet connection to trade management.

This guide explains the normal HOODBTC Trade journey in plain language. Exact screens, supported networks, collateral flows and market features can vary, so always follow the live interface and review every wallet prompt before approving it.

STEP 02Select Market
STEP 03Configure Order
STEP 04Manage Position
BEFORE YOU START

Three checks before connecting a wallet.

A good trading session starts before the first order. Verify the official site, use the wallet and network you intend to trade with, and understand the market you are opening.

DOMAIN

Verify the official URL

Use trade.hoodbtc.com. Avoid links from unknown DMs, ads or copied websites.

WALLET

Prepare a supported wallet

Keep your recovery phrase offline. HOODBTC will never need your seed phrase to connect.

RISK

Know what you are trading

Check whether the market is spot, perpetual or leveraged, and understand the possible loss before placing an order.

HOW TO USE HOODBTC TRADE

A practical trading flow, step by step.

The interface is designed to keep the wallet, market, order and position journey in one place. Do not rush through approvals—each step should make sense before you continue.

01 / VERIFY01

Open the official trading site

Go directly to trade.hoodbtc.com. Confirm the domain before connecting any wallet or signing any message.

02 / CONNECT02

Connect your wallet

Choose a supported wallet from the Connect Wallet flow. The wallet remains your authorization layer; review the connection request before approving it.

03 / PREPARE03

Complete any required funding step

Depending on the supported market and connected infrastructure, the interface may ask you to select a network, approve collateral, deposit to a trading balance or complete another wallet-authorized preparation step. Follow the live instructions and verify the asset and network.

04 / MARKET04

Choose the market you want

Search or browse supported markets. Check the trading pair, current price, liquidity, funding information where relevant and any leverage or margin settings.

05 / ORDER05

Build the order carefully

Select buy/long or sell/short where available, choose the order type, enter size and price parameters, and review leverage, estimated exposure and other visible order details.

06 / APPROVE06

Submit and approve

Submit only after the order preview matches your intention. If the wallet requests a signature or transaction, read the prompt and confirm the domain, network and action.

07 / MONITOR07

Monitor orders and positions

Use the open orders, positions and account views to track status, entry price, unrealized profit or loss, margin and liquidation information where those fields apply.

08 / EXIT08

Close, cancel or withdraw

Cancel unfilled orders you no longer want. Close positions deliberately, then use the supported withdrawal or transfer flow when you want to move eligible assets back through your wallet.

IMPORTANT

Market and limit orders behave differently.

A market order generally prioritizes immediate execution at available prices, while a limit order sets a price condition and may remain unfilled. Slippage, liquidity, leverage, funding and liquidation risk can materially affect results.

AFTER THE ORDER

Know what each account area is telling you.

Trading does not end when you press submit. The most important information often appears after an order is placed.

OPEN ORDERS

Pending instructions

Orders waiting for execution can usually be reviewed or cancelled before they fill.

POSITIONS

Live exposure

For position-based markets, watch size, entry, mark price, P&L and liquidation information where available.

HISTORY

Past activity

Use order, trade and transaction history to understand what executed and when.

SAFETY CHECKLIST

Never approve what you do not understand.

DO

Verify the important details.

URLConfirm trade.hoodbtc.com

Bookmark the official domain instead of relying on random links.

ORDERCheck side, size and leverage

One wrong parameter can materially change risk.

WALLETRead wallet prompts

Reject anything that does not match the action you initiated.

DO NOT

Protect wallet control.

SEEDNever share a recovery phrase

No legitimate HOODBTC workflow requires your seed phrase.

RUSHDo not sign blindly

Slow down when a network, token or permission looks unfamiliar.

ASSUMEDo not assume every market is identical

Availability, leverage, collateral and settlement can differ by market and infrastructure.

TRADE GUIDE FAQ

Common questions during the trading flow.

Why does my wallet need to sign something?+

Wallet signatures can be used to authorize account access or onchain actions. Read the prompt carefully and approve only the action you intentionally started from the official domain.

Why might I need collateral or a trading balance?+

Some supported market structures require eligible collateral before an order can be opened. The exact flow depends on the market, network and connected infrastructure.

What if my order does not fill?+

A limit order can remain open if the market does not reach the required price or liquidity is unavailable. Review open orders and cancel one if you no longer want it active.

Can I lose more quickly with leverage?+

Yes. Leverage magnifies market exposure and can accelerate losses and liquidation risk. Use it only if you understand the consequences.
